    Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies India Private Limited is a Joint Venture between the Faurecia Group, France and ANAND, India. The present company came into force with this Joint Venture being signed in 2010.

    The company was originally set up in 1997 as Arvin Exhaust, India (A Joint Venture between Arvin Meritor, USA and ANAND). The Emissions Controls business in the USA changed hands between Arvin Meritor, USA and Emcon Technologies, USA in 2007 and the company came to be known as Emcon Technologies, India. Subsequently, the Faurecia Group, France acquired the emission technologies business worldwide in 2010 from Emcon Technologies, USA, which led to the change in ownership in India as well.
